Few days back Engadget reported that some users were facing Wi-Fi connectivity issues after upgrading to iOS 5 or iOS 5.0.1. Based on this discussion thread, it seems to be affecting iPhone 4S, iPhone 4S, iPhone 3GS, the iPads and even iPod touch users.

This is not the first time iOS device users are facing Wi-Fi connectivity issues after upgrading to the latest iOS 5/iOS 5.0.1 software update. Users have reported similar issues with Wi-Fi connectivity after upgrading to iOS 3.x and iOS 4.x software  update as well.

iOS hacker and developer, chpwn has released a new version of popular jailbreak tweak InfiniBoard that allows jailbreakers to add as many icons as you want to each home screen page, which they can access by scrolling the home screen page vertically.

It essentially removes the limit of 16 apps or folders per home screen page.

Apple released iOS 5.0.1 yesterday, which in addition to bringing multitouch features to iPad 1 and fixing the iPad 2 smart cover security flaw also included a number of bugs that was affecting battery life for some users.

Based on comments from some of our readers it looks like the iOS software update hasn’t resolved the battery issues for all the users.

Apple has just confirmed that iOS 5.0.1 hasn’t fixed all iPhone battery issues, and if that wasn’t bad enough, users have started reported new problems after upgrading to the latest iOS software update.

Paul Hontz of The Startup Foundry writes that after upgrading to iOS 5.0.1 via the over-the-air (OTA) update has screwed up the address book on his iPhone.
