ZDNet reports that according to leaked documents that are internal communications between the Indian military, Apple, RIM and Nokia are providing backdoor access to the Indian military to monitor cellular communication.
The documents were leaked by a group of Indian hackers called The Lords of Dharmaraja. ZDNet reports that the leaked documents reveals the existence of a system known as RINOA SUR where RINOA stands for RIM, Nokia and Apple. ZDNet’s Manan Kakkar isn’t sure what SUR stands for. Apple usually relies on Asian OEMs for its parts, but Reuters reports that the A5 processor is manufactured in a sprawling 1.6 million square feet factory in Texas owned by Samsung.
Insiders who know about Apple’s manufacturing habits will agree that most of their parts are sourced and assembled by low-cost Asian manufacturers. Reuters’ insiders are claiming that a relatively new Samsung factory in Austin, Texas is outputting A5 chips for Apple. The ARM-based dual-core A5 processor powers the iPad 2 and the new iPhone 4S. Just when we thought that the incidents of an iPhone exploding in Brazil and self combusting on an Australian airline were isolated incidents, we have another iPhone user, this time a firefighter in the Pennsylvanian town of East Brandywine reporting that his iPhone 4″spontaneously caught fire” while charging.

Apple is rumored to be working on smartphones and peripheral devices that you can wear, just like the iPod Nano watch. These devices would let you view data, send data back to your phone, and prevent you having to stare at your phone’s screen constantly.
Wearable technology isn’t exactly new – there were devices even before the iPod Nanowatch – but it is much more useful than it used to be. People have theorized and even developed wearable bracelets and watches that vibrate and display your incoming call, or send your heart rate to your smartphone for logging. The two problems that cropped up are range of communication, which the ubiquity of smartphones has helped to solve, and battery life. According to Taiwanese publication DigiTimes, Apple will launch the next generation iPad in 3 to 4 months.
DigiTimes reports that according to their sources in Apple’s supply chain, the production of parts for iPad 3 has already started ramping up, while production of iPad 2 has declined.

A report has come in that the new Apple-branded Television that is rumored to be coming next year will come in three sizes, ranging from 32″ to 55″.
The report also claims it will be powered by Apple’s A6 processor, the same processor that is expected to power iPad 3 and thenext generation iPhone.

After Andy Rubin played down the importance of Siri by saying no one wants to talk to their phone, Google chairman Eric Schmidt admitted that the voice based service could be used to over ride Google when searching for information. His statements came in a letter in response to questions raised by a senator about Google’s monopoly in the search business.

Apple is widely speculated to launch iPad 3 with Retina display like iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S next year.
Taiwanese Publication - DigiTimes reports that Apple is also planning to change the backlight design for the next generation iPad with Retina display.
With the next-generation iPads expected to adopt LCD panels with resolutions higher than 2048 by 1536, the current single LED light bar designed for the iPad 2 has to be modify in order to maintain or strengthen the brightness of the panels, the sources explained.
