Apple has just released iOS 5.0.1 (build number 9A405).

iOS 5.0.1 is available for iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4th generation, iPod Touch 3rd generation, iPad and iPad 2.

iTunes Match, Apple’s answer to Google Music andAmazon Cloud Drive, was scheduled to be released to the public by the end of October, as announced at the”Let’s Talk iPhone” event. However, it’s November and there is no sign of iTunes Match.

One of our favorite iOS 5 features is the revamped iOS 5 Notification system, especially the Notification Center as it finally makes it a lot easier to keep track of new notifications.

Apple is expected to finally unveil iPhone 5 at a big media event on October 4th.

AllThingsD has learnt that Apple plans to hold the media event at the company’s headquarters rather than the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) in San Francisco, which has been typically used for such big media events.

AppleInsider has just reported that one of their source connected to AppleCare customer service center has informed them that they’ve been told to expect a large number of iOS related calls on October 10th, which strongly suggests that Apple will release iOS 5and iCloud on that data.

Apple has sent email to developers of iOS and Mac Developer program to inform them that their iCloud libraries will be deleted on Monday, September 26th at 9AM PDT.

Apple has stated that it is deleting iCloud libraries to improve the overall quality and reliability” of the iTunes match service.
