According to Taiwanese publication DigiTimes, Apple will launch the next generation iPad in 3 to 4 months.

DigiTimes reports that according to their sources in Apple’s supply chain, the production of parts for iPad 3 has already started ramping up, while production of iPad 2 has declined.

Apple has announced that more than 100 million apps have been downloaded from the Mac App Store in less than one year.

In the press release, Apple has also revealed that more 1 billion apps are downloaded every month and so far users have downloaded more than 18 billion apps from the App Store, which has more than 500,000 apps.

With more than 500,000 apps, there’s an app for just about anything in the App Store. But we didn’t know there was an app for creating fake driver’s license. If you were hoping to get it, you can’t as MacRumors reports that Apple has removed the app aptly called Drivers License from the App Store after getting a complaint from U.S. Senator Bob Casey of Pennsylvania.

Sony’s portable cassette player, the Walkman was the first mass market device to allow users to listen to music while on the go.

In case you miss it, you should checkout this Kickstarter project called Audman, which hopes to bring the fun of mixtapes, cassette players and boomboxes to the iPhone with both function and style.

Kickstarter is a website that helps developers gain pledges from interested buyers in order to develop their projects.

Traxxas has recently announced that their electric remote control super car XO-1 can go 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds, and from zero to 100 in just 4.92 seconds using an iPhone app, making it the fastest radio controlled super car.

According to Traxxas’ website, you can unlock the 100+ mph capability using the capability Traxxas Link application that will be available in the App Store.
